Plan Your Beach Wedding
Southwest Florida is a PERFECT spot for your Destination Beach Wedding! There are many spots that make for a beautiful backdrop for your vows to be shared while your toes are in the sand.
Did you know?! YOU DO NOT NEED A PERMIT FOR WEDDINGS THAT INCLUDE PARTIES OF 6 PEOPLE OR LESS! You can simply walk onto the beach and having a short and sweet ceremony for under six people, no reservations or fees involved. The only thing you need to be sure you take care of is legal parking (we have tons of beach access here in Naples with ample parking BUT it does get crowded here during "season" so prepare ahead of time!)
*You cannot block beach access, reserve any beach area or obstruct the lawful use of the beach by anyone else. You cannot have live music or amplified sound and cannot set out chairs, standards or other fixtures which might obstruct the use of the beach. Great for an impromptu, informal wedding with just a few friends or relatives, unacceptable for a major function.
For ceremonies of six or more you must follow a reservation process--be 100% sure to do this so that we do not get asked to leave during your ceremony! Please contact the staff at 239-213-7120 or 239-252-4000 for more information, a list of locations and to reserve the space.

Unity Ceremony
A symbolic ritual woven into your wedding ceremony marking the blending of two lives into one, or two families into one. There are lots of ways to do this! There is sand, wine, candles time capsules and more! I would love to chat about how traditional or how creative you want to be for your wedding day.
I DO
The only words you NEED to say in your ceremony are I DO. The rest is completely up to you! Choose the elements that are the most important to you and make it as personal as you want. Include funny short stories, tear-jerker moments and everything in between to have your guests talking about your wedding for years! Choosing the right person to tell your love story and to marry you is SO important. I hope you will want that person to be me! MARRIAGE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- In order to get your marriage license to hold a wedding from the county clerks office you must be 18 years old.
- The couple must both appear in person to obtain a license
- You must have a valid I.D. with the date of birth and photo must be provided (driver’s license, passport, etc.)
- For Florida Residents Only there is a three (3) day waiting period from the date of the marriage license issuance. This requirement may be waived if you choose to attend a premarital class and present a certificate of attendance to the marriage clerk at the time of application.
- If previously married, all that is required is the month and year of termination of the marriage.
- Licenses are issued immediately and must be used within 60 days from the date of issue.
- The cost for a Florida marriage license is $86 (plus a 3.5% Credit card fee if used). There is a REDUCED FEE for Florida residents who elect the PREMARITAL class. A list of course providers can be found on the county clerk website.
- Couples living in other parts of Florida can bring a license with them from their home county.

EXTRA COPIES~
Marriage license copies can be purchased in the clerk’s office for a $1.00 each. Certified copies of marriage licenses are $3.00 each. If your marriage license was recorded in Collier County, you can either come into the office to purchase one or mail your request along with a check payable to the Clerk of the Circuit Court at the address below. If requesting by mail, please include a self-addressed postage paid envelope for the return of your certified copy(s). Please note: The brides name does not legally change once you are married until you take your license to the social security office and DMV to legally change your name. So most people get extra copies for this purpose.
